Wedding Questions

Planning a wedding involves many details, and questions are bound to arise. To assist you, we've compiled answers to some of the most common inquiries about our services and the planning process. If you have further questions, feel free to reach out to us directly.

  • Do you manage the wedding rituals too?

Yes. At EventStory by GNS we plan every ritual into the wedding schedule, from the Ganesh pooja on the first morning to the vidaai. The samagri, the mandap and the people each ceremony needs are ready before the muhurat, so your family can sit through the ceremony instead of running around for it.

  • Can you arrange a pandit for the pheras?

Yes. We can bring in a pandit we have worked with before, or coordinate with your family pandit if you already have one. Either way, we share the timings, the samagri list and the mandap layout with them well before the day.

  • What if the muhurat is at an odd hour, like 3am?

Then we plan the whole night around it. The mandap is lit and ready, there is tea and food for the guests who stay up, and the ones who don't have their rooms sorted. The muhurat decides the schedule, not the other way round.

  • Do you plan weddings where the two families follow different customs?

Yes. We sit with both families early, understand what each ritual needs and how long it takes, and build one schedule that respects both. We have planned Punjabi, Marwari, Bengali and interfaith weddings.
